Angry, Angry Hippo

So, two young women — strawberry-blond Sistine (Madison Davenport) and her BFF, raven-haired Hannah (Olivia Bernstone) — walk into a Louisiana bar. One has just been fired over the phone for not being in the office even though her vacation time was okayed by her boss and booked in advance. Not the ideal way to start a girls’ trip. But the gal pals are there and figure they might as well make the best of it and have some fun — as in doing flights of shots and then dancing around waving glow sticks. And that’s how they cross paths with Rodrigo (Michel Curiel), who operates a gator tour boat. It’s not Mardi Gras, but enjoying a cool breeze and seeing alligators — which are certainly on my living-dinosaurs checklist — is better than sitting around binge eating po’ boy sandwiches and beignets.
